What You’ll Need

  • Duct tape

  • Natural materials, such as sticks, leaves, berries, feathers, or anything else you find along your walk! (Try to find things that have already fallen, instead of picking live plants)

What to Do

  1. Make a bracelet out of duct tape, with the sticky side of the tape facing out.

  2. Head out on a nature adventure! Whenever you see a cool piece of nature, pick it up, and stick it on to your bracelet. Try taking only what you see on the ground, so that you’re not bothering any live plants.

  3. By the end of your walk, you will have a fun bracelet with memories of where you travelled today!

  4. Next time, make a bracelet on each arm and sort items between your two bracelets by colour, shape, or size!

Ask Yourself

  • Were there any items that didn’t stick to the bracelet very well?

  • Did you see anything on your adventure that was naturally sticky?

  • What did you enjoy seeing that you couldn’t stick to your bracelet? Were they too big, or were they living creatures?
