Group & Corporate Volunteers

Looking for an opportunity for your group to spend time in the outdoors while aiding conservation and facilitating group bonding? An EALT Group Event is just what you’re looking for!

EALT has hosted a variety of groups, including corporate teams, nature organizations, and other large groups to assist us in our conservation work. Please note that available activities are dependant on the time of year, and EALT’s conservation activity needs.

Available Activities

Currently, EALT offers 5 general activities that we often need the most help with. These are:

  • Invasive plant removal (Summer)

  • Tree or shrub planting (Summer)

  • Barbed wire removal (Summer/Fall)

  • Nest box monitoring (Fall)

  • Black knot fungus removal (Fall/Winter)

What are the requirements?

To make hosting a volunteer event both manageable and effective, we have a few requirements that we ask groups to adhere to.

  • Minimum of 10 participants, with a maximum of 40.

  • Minimum of 4 working hours (excluding travel time)

  • Please try to submit a request as far in advance as possible.

Please be aware that our conservation lands are varying distances from the city of Edmonton. Our closest location is 30 minutes away, and the furthest is 1.5 hours away by car.
