Winter Wildlife Walk at Glory Hills - maskihkîy meskanaw

Glory Hills Conservation Lands are full of life - our wildlife cameras capture images of fox, skunks, moose, and fishers there, and visitors hike, ski, and snowshoe all over this 110 acre paradise. Join us to explore this winter wonderland and discover some of the incredible creatures that live here. We will look for wildlife and their tracks while snowshoeing through a beautiful landscape.

We will meet at Westmount Mall at 9:00 am to carpool to Glory Hills. We will finish and be on our way back by 2 pm. Wear winter boots and warm, layered clothing. Bring a lunch and water, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. Snowshoes are highly recommended. If you don't have your own, you can rent snowshoes from several outdoor sport outfitters, such as MEC and Totem Outfitters. Additional information will be sent to you in advance of the event.

Note: If the temperature is forecasted to be below -15 before windchill we may reschedule or cancel this event for the safety of participants.

Registration for this event is now closed, thank you for your interest!
