Owl Prowl at Larch Sanctuary

Larch Sanctuary is located within the City of Edmonton, and is a spectacular location for an Owl Prowl! Join us to adventure over dirt trails within Larch Sanctuary during the dark of night. We will be listening for owls including Great Horned, Saw-whets, and Barred Owls.

We will meet at Larch Sanctuary at 7:30pm and will finish at 10:30pm. Wear warm, comfortable clothing as the temperature decreases throughout the night. This event will involve us walking on dirt trails in the dark, and there are moderate slopes and uneven terrain. Therefore, we strongly recommend wearing sturdy shoes and bringing a headlamp or flashlight.

Note: If the temperature is forecasted to be below -15 before windchill we may reschedule or cancel this event for the safety of participants.
