Trail Clearing at Bunchberry Meadows

Bunchberry Meadows is filled with a wide range of habitats, from rolling grasslands to patches of birch, jack pine, and mixed wood forest. It is a haven for many species of plants and animals. Partners of EALT are starting an exciting initiative here to learn more about the birds that make Bunchberry Meadows their home. In order to prepare for this initiative, we will need help clearing a few trails. As a bonus, you’ll get a sneak peek of what it’s all about!

We will meet at Bunchberry Meadows at 9 AM, and leave the site by 2 PM. Wear appropriate footwear and long pants, and bring a lunch, water, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. If you have your own gardening tools and gloves to bring we recommend that you do so, but otherwise tools and gloves will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.

Stewardship events are weather-dependent and subject to cancellation.
