Pipestone Creek Conservation Land overlooks the meandering Pipestone Creek as well as an oxbow lake. It supports moose, deer, and many other types of wildlife, and are well frequented by visitors who enjoy the peaceful scenery. Join us at our Pipestone Creek to remove invasive plants from the trails and surrounding areas to provide the best environment possible for native plants and wildlife to flourish!
We will meet at Pipestone Creek promptly at 10:00 AM, and leave the site by 3:00 PM. Wear appropriate footwear and long pants, and bring a lunch, water, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. If you have your own gloves to bring we recommend that you do so, but otherwise tools and gloves will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.
Other notes:
This land does not have a parking lot and is roadside parking only. Sometimes large trucks use the road, so it is recommended to pull fully into the ditch where it is shallow enough to do so.
