Over the past few years EALT has been working hard to reach out to individuals and communities about the threats faced by native pollinators and how we can help them. This winter you can connect with family and friends while making a present for someone you care about! We will be adding a holiday theme to our bee hotel workshops by providing Christmas cookies, music, and some paint to personalize your gift.
How it Works:
1-2 people can work on one kit, and each kit costs $30 to cover materials, location rental, and snacks. Please only pay for the number of kits that you need, and email Meghan at meghan@ealt.ca if more than one person is going to work on your kit so we can keep track of numbers of attendees.
Please arrive by 2 pm at the Reuse Centre. We will give a 15 minute presentation, you will build your kits, and then add decorations to the outside if you like. Christmas cookies and snacks will be provided. Some comfort with a drill is recommended.
What to Bring:
Please wear clothing you feel comfortable woodworking in.
Please bring a drill if you can, preferably cordless.
