Resilience is the ability to bounce back from difficulties as strong or stronger than before. The Edmonton Resilience Festival celebrates and promotes the resilience of the individual, community, and the globe at large. The Edmonton Resilience Festival is on April 27, 2019 at the Waldorf Independent School of Edmonton (7211 96a Ave NW). More information about this event can be found here. There are 30+ workshops for people to participate in by donation happening all day starting at 9 am and finishing at 5 pm. If shopping is your fancy, there is a local market filled with various vendors open from 11 am to 4 pm for everyone to enjoy! All focused on creating a more resilient lifestyle on multiple levels. We are not just promoting this excellent event, we are an active participant this year! Starting at 10 am until 12:00 pm, the Edmonton and Area Land Trust is hosting a bee hotel workshop. You will be able to build your own solitary bee hotel and bring it home to your garden! Please bring closed toe shoes, eye protection and if you have one, your own drill. Here is the link for our workshop. We cannot wait to see you at the Edmonton Resilience Festival and help you build a bee hotel as well!
