The Lu Carbyn Nature Sanctuary is a stunning quarter-section of largely undisturbed boreal forest, and the perfect haven for birds - as shown by the over 95 species recorded here! Tall Buttercup has begun to surge here along the trails and in the meadow, and we could use your help with removing it!
We will meet at the Lu Carbyn Nature Sanctuary at 10:00 am, and leave the site by 3:00 pm. Wear appropriate footwear and long pants, and bring a lunch, water, hat, sunscreen/bugspray, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. If you have your own gardening tools and gloves to bring we recommend that you do so, but otherwise tools and gloves will be provided.
