February 6th is the official Winter Walk Day organised by SHAPE. Get involved by walking with EALT! We will hike or snowshoe through the beautiful rolling winter landscape of Bunchberry Meadows, while we search for winter wildlife and their tracks. (We will now be belatedly celebrating the official Winter Walk Day, on February 13).

We will meet at 9:00 am to carpool, or at 9:45 am at Bunchberry Meadows, and finish by 2 pm. Wear winter boots and warm, layered clothing. Bring a lunch and water, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. Depending on the amount of snow, snowshoes may or may not be necessary. If you don't have your own, you can rent snowshoes from several outdoor sport outfitters, such as MEC and Totem Outfitters. Additional information will be sent to you in advance of the event.
