Stewarding natural areas takes a variety of different types of tasks. In the case of Bunchberry Meadows, the installation of nice infrastructure now requires us to do some habitat restoration. At this event we will partner with the Nature Conservancy of Canada to plant a variety of shrubs and willows to prevent erosion and provide habitat for wildlife.
We will meet at 10:00 am at Bunchberry, and finish around 3 pm. Carpooling is available. Wear sturdy shoes and warm comfortable clothes, and bring a lunch and water. Tools, gloves and extra snacks will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.
