Glory Hills Conservation Lands are full of life - our wildlife cameras capture images of fox, skunks, moose, and fishers there, and visitors hike, ski, and snowshoe all over this 110 acre paradise. Several years of thorough weed control have reduced the amount of invasive weed species on these lands so native species can thrive, and at this event we will work to keep the pressure on. Common Tansy and Orange Hawkweed will be our targets at this event.

We will meet at Glory Hills at 9 am, and leave the site by 3 pm. Wear appropriate footwear and long pants, and bring a lunch, water, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. If you have your own gardening tools and gloves to bring we recommend that you do so, but otherwise tools and gloves will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.

While we resume our volunteer stewardship events, we are committed to implementing actions to comply with public health measures and workplace guidance to reduce risk of COVID-19 among staff, volunteers, and the general public. We will also be implementing updated EALT health and safety policies and procedures to support a safe work and volunteer environment. Please read our guidelines for volunteering during COVID-19 here.
