Join us at the Smith Blackburn Homestead for an exciting double feature!
We will work to remove remove barbed wire to improve wildlife habitat as well as conduct a loon survey. This is a great opportunity to not only contribute to local nature conservation, but also to learn about EALT and waterfowl.
We will meet at 8:30 am and carpool to the site, getting back around 3-4 pm. Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes, and bring a lunch, water, sunscreen/bugspray, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. Tools, gloves and extra snacks will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.
