Join us for a survey of nocturnal bats at Bunchberry Meadows Conservation Land. If we are lucky, perhaps we will even hear an owl! Find out what you are missing when you go to sleep.
We will meet at 8:30 PM at Bunchberry Meadows and start off with a one hour walk in the early evening. As we near sunset, we will set up to watch the bat boxes for exiting bats. We will be finished by midnight. Wear hiking boots and warm layers. Bring a snack, water, and a flashlight or headlamp, and a camping chair if desired. Extra snacks will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.
