Lu Carbyn Nature Sanctuary is a stunning EALT Conservation Land that is a quarter section of completely undisturbed Boreal forest, a perfect haven for birds as shown by the over 95 species being recorded here. We have recently installed several signs on the land to discourage trespassing and provide valuable information about the property. In order for people to fully appreciate Lu Carbyn Nature Sanctuary, we want to install the rest of our educational and directional signs, and we could use some help to install them. Seeing as visitors will be here soon, we want to do a bit of trail maintenance too. Come learn about Lu Carbyn Nature Sanctuary and be some of the first volunteers to enjoy this property!
We will meet at 8:30 am and carpool to the site, getting back around 4 pm. Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes, and bring a lunch, water, hat, sunscreen/bugspray, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. Tools, gloves and extra snacks will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.
