Going Batty at Glory Hills

Join us at the beautiful Glory Hills  conservation lands to install two rocket bat boxes and several smaller boxes on four 21' posts. We need all the muscle we can muster to carry in the supplies, and install the posts! These boxes will provide a place for maternity colonies of bats to roost.

We will meet at 8:30 am and carpool to the site, getting back to Edmonton around 3-4 pm. Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes, and bring a lunch, water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. Tools, gloves and extra snacks will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.

Email Steph at steph@ealt.ca to sign up or for more information.
