Fall Birdwatching Tours at Lu Carbyn Nature Sanctuary - September

Are you ready for some exciting fall migrants? Want to go hiking in a beautiful location? Join us for a fall nature walk at the Lu Carbyn Nature Sanctuary to experience the diverse wildlife in our tenth Conservation Land! These tours will focus on birds during the midst of fall migration.

We will meet at 9:00 am at the town of Darwell (1 hour drive west of Edmonton) and carpool to the site, finishing between noon and 2 pm. There will be the option of leaving early or staying later if birding is good! Wear hiking boots, or rubber boots if weather is wet. Bring a lunch, water, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. Tours will be led by Lu Carbyn, but EALT staff may not attend these events. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the events.

There are two date options for this birdwatching hike: September 22 (now full) and September 29. Select your date of choice after clicking "register for this event."
