Join us at our Pipestone Creek Conservation Lands to remove black knot fungus from the Prunus species that are affected. Removing the black knot in the fall prevents further spreading and helps keep our forest healthy.
We will meet at 9:00 am and carpool to the site, getting back to Edmonton around 3 pm. Wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes, and bring a lunch, water, and a camera or binoculars if you'd like. Tools, gloves and extra snacks will be provided. Additional information will be sent to you several days in advance of the event.
Email Rebecca at rebecca@ealt.ca to sign up or for more information.
